Louissaint Frank
was born in Aquin on October 22, 1949. After primary school in Aquin he went to high school at Lycee Antenor Firmin in Port-au-Prince (fourth year). He began painting in 1967 by himself, aided by home-study books on painting. He came to the Art Center in 1969.
