Leonius Adam
was born in in Port-au-Prince. Formerly a dock worker, he was discovered through wall paintings in a voodoo temple in a poorer section of the City. Since then, he has become a master decorative painter. His magnificent screens are treasured by collectors. He is represented by a mural of the Annunciation in the Episcopal Cathedral.
