Artist and Painting

Jean Felix was born in 1929 in L’Anse-a-Veau. He started at the Centre d’Art as a handyman and studied under Pierre Monosier in 1950. Participating later in all major exhibitions of the Centre in Europe, US, and South America, he left to join the Red Carpet Gallery. His subject is often colorful markets filled with people with heavily outlined leaves or foliage.
