Gourgue Decourcel
was born in 1927 in Por-au-Prince. After school at St. Louis de Gonzague, he studied painting under his gifted brother J.E. Gourgue and later, Raymond D. Joseph and P. Beauvoir. He began painting in 1957 and has been exhibited locally and in the US in 1961.
