Durandisse Jean
was born in 1937 in Leogane. Well educated at Lycee Toussaint L’Ouverture and University of Port-au-Prince, he studied painting and design from 1959 to 1965 with Professor Rene Exume. Besides local exhibitions, his works hang in the collection of the Ambassadors of Canada and Guatemala.
